Where do the travel times come from?

Wogosch works from traffic counts at official Swiss measuring stations (FEDRO, the Federal Roads Office, via opentransportdata.swiss), from public holidays and cantonal school holidays. For a single trip, Wogosch tells you there is no traffic forecast if less than half of the route is covered by measuring stations. A forecast remains an estimate.

Will Wogosch take me to my destination?

No, Wogosch is not a navigation app. You hand your destination over to the navigation app you already use, for example Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze.

What happens to my data?

You don’t need an account. Saved places and routes stay on your device. For planning, we send the coordinates of the route to the services needed, including for weather and traffic. Usage statistics and error reports exist only if you switch them on, and you can switch them off again at any time in the settings. More in the privacy policy: wogosch.ch/privacy
